Introduction
5G extended base station is a miniaturized, low-power and distributed base station. It is a 5G indoor coverage base station equipment based on the transmission and distribution of wireless signals. It is mainly used in office buildings, shopping malls, campuses, hospitals, hotels, parking lots and other indoor scenes, to achieve accurate and deep coverage of indoor 5G signal and capacity.
The 5G extended base station system is composed of 5G host unit (AU, Antenna Unit), expansion unit (HUB) and remote unit (pRU). The host unit and the expansion unit are connected through the optical fiber, and the expansion unit and the remote unit are connected through the photoelectric composite cable. The system networking architecture is shown in Figure 1-1 5G extended base station system architecture diagram.
